Trout!



Fishing this spring at the lake was too much fun. Proof that I was fishing: My t-shirt is gently pressing against my neck, and is killing me because of this sunburn. We caught a bunch of stocked rainbow trout, we seemed to be one of the few anglers out there to have caught anything. One poor guy told us he'd been there all day and hadn't caught anything. We caught enough to feed me for several days.






Our recipe for the Trout: (Slightly augmented from my Dad's recipe)

2 trout
1/2 Lemon (thinly sliced)
Pinch of Rosemary
Pinch of Pepper
Pinch of Kosher Salt
1/4 cup of Italian salad dressing

Sprinkle salt and season the inside of the cleaned fish with the rosemary. Insert the lemons (sliced in half across the ring helps to not waste) and cover the outside of the fish with the dressing. wrap up in a foil packet and grill it at medium heat for at least 5 minutes per side.
