It makes me laugh that all of these guys who've been hunting for decades tell me to stay away from rabbit meat in the summer, rabbits are apparently worse than nuclear waste in a septic tank this time of year. Not one of these guys can tell me what the disease is for sure. Sometimes its worms, a virus, some awful bacteria, or plague, really bad exotic viruses or something. I don't care what they're telling me I know that the meat is fine. Besides we're hunting rabbits when no one else will, so we get to shoot a bunch of them in a day. We got 9 today, and had a great time doing it. We're expecting to fry up some more food...It tastes just like KFC, and after boiling the meat for an hour what's there to be 'fraid of??
